Update 2 added Nightmare Mode, alien rewards, random events and new buses. The September 12–14 Roblox event window has passed; it does not tell you whether an individual unlock remains available today.
Nightmare Mode
Published Update 2 coverage describes an always-dark run, walls that can take damage, a larger completion Ticket reward and teams of up to six players. The mode demands more attention to bus repairs and nearby enemies than an ordinary daylight run.
Before entering, check your current lobby’s mode panel for its entry condition and reward. Bring fuel, a usable weapon, matching ammunition and healing supplies; leave room for repairs when walls break.
Alien content and tokens
The update introduced an Alien Class, an Alien Bus and a limited-time Wheel Spin. Guides report Alien Tokens from alien encounters or captured aliens sold to the Vault. Check the current Wheel and Vault panels for prices and availability before farming or spending.
Earlier guides also report the code Aliens for 30 Alien Tokens. Recent September 25 lists disagree on whether this older code still works. See the code status page before trying it.
Random events and buses
Update 2 coverage names Bandit Chase, UFO Attack, Mothership Spawn, House Fire, Zombie Horde and Alien-Infested Buildings as random events. It also names Armoured, Golden, Supercharged and Alien buses. The event list gives no reliable spawn interval or fixed payout, so react to the encounter in your run.
Compare the actual bus purchase panel for cost and abilities. A bus name alone does not establish its speed, protection or unlock method.
Update timeline
The NIGHTMARE + MORE! event was listed for September 12–14. It is now a past announcement. The later Ocean Biome update added a new World 1 area and Ocean Tokens.
