Crafting & workbench progression

QUICK ANSWER

The workbench supports the Crafter badge track: 25 items for Crafter I, 150 for Crafter II and 500 for Elite Crafter. Basic Wheels are a useful preparation choice in the solo walkthrough.

Start with the recipe on the workbench

Approach the workbench and read the recipe requirements in your current run. Check both the material type and the quantity before committing resources. A part that solves the next journey’s problem is more useful than crafting an item simply because its materials happen to be nearby.

The September 4 solo route prepares Basic Wheels before the late stages of the journey. Keep a finished spare accessible so that a failed wheel does not force you to search for materials after the bus has stopped.

Basic Wheels: prepare before they are needed

Ricoko highlights the workbench around 2:23 in the solo video and later uses the spare-wheel preparation around 7:39. This links an early crafting choice to a concrete late-run problem.

The practical sequence is to read the wheel recipe, set aside its materials, craft the replacement and keep it separate from sale cargo. When fitting it, use the attachment control and check that the part is actually on the bus before driving.

  1. Check the current Basic Wheel recipe at the workbench.
  2. Reserve the displayed materials before selling spare loot.
  3. Craft the replacement and keep it reachable.
  4. Use Z to place or attach the part when replacing a damaged wheel.

All crafting badge milestones

These are the quantities in the official Roblox badge descriptions. They describe crafted items; they do not say you must unlock that many distinct recipes. Track your current milestone in the badge checklist and keep the next target in mind when deciding how much material to save.

Keep materials tied to a purpose

Divide the haul into immediate supplies, planned crafting materials and sale cargo. Before you sell something that could be used at the workbench, compare it with the recipe you intend to complete.

In a group, nominate one person to manage planned materials and one to check the vehicle. That avoids duplicate crafting while leaving the bus without another essential supply. If the run is low on fuel or ammunition, cover those needs before chasing a crafting milestone.

Planning a cure ending

The Cure Fred badge names a cure potion as its required item. Its description does not supply an ingredient list or establish a workbench recipe. Follow the potion instructions shown by the current game and keep the resulting item for the Fred encounter.

Use the Cure Fred guide to coordinate the final decision with your team. Crafting milestones and ending requirements are separate goals, so completing a Crafter badge does not itself unlock the cure ending.
