Plan an 80 km solo or team run

QUICK ANSWER

Solo Pro requires 80 km in one solo run. Team Player requires 80 km in one run with a full team of four. The Traveller badges instead count total distance.

Choose the correct distance target

An accumulation of shorter runs can contribute to the Traveller track, but it does not meet the explicit single-run condition of Solo Pro or Team Player. Decide which badge you are tracking before setting out.

Keep a solo route focused

Ricoko’s solo clear spends early time building a usable loadout and later becomes selective about stops. It keeps the Iron Sword, prepares spare wheels, holds onto a Revolver and repeatedly budgets for fuel.

Use each detour to solve an actual shortage. If supplies are already sufficient for the next objective, another small building can consume time and inventory space without improving the run. Keep enough flexibility to stop for food or fuel when the current journey needs it.

Give the four-person group clear jobs

These are suggested responsibilities, not in-game classes. Players can share or change them. The aim is to keep a full group moving with the same goal instead of leaving one person outside while others sell or drive away.

  • Driver: calls departures and checks the next stop.
  • Supplies: tracks fuel, food and replacement parts.
  • Combat: calls out ammunition shortages before checkpoints.
  • Objectives: watches rescued characters, clues and the chosen ending.

Finish the objective before collecting everything

The solo route repeatedly clears enemies, retrieves a key and rescues an NPC at checkpoints. A later bridge section adds more waves before the journey can continue. Watch the objective state rather than assuming that reaching the location clears it.

Once the area is safe, gather the valuable loot that fits your plan and return to the terminal loop: sell, resupply and leave prepared. Check that the bus and any quest character are ready before committing to the next stretch.

Track the result after the ride

Check the actual badge awarded at the end of your attempt. Reaching the distance and choosing a Fred ending are related parts of a journey, but they have separately worded badge conditions.

Use the local checklist to mark completed badges and pick one next target. If the attempt failed, change the part that caused the failure—fuel planning, ammunition, wheel preparation or group coordination—before trying to make the whole route faster.
